The superstructure of the building is being installed using TotalJoist. All joists come cambered so that no shoring is required on site. This eliminates the labour required to install and uninstall shoring, and also allows for follow-up trades to start working under the floor the day after the pour.
The joist also allow for flexibility for site variations. TotalJoist can handle up to plus or minus 3/4 of an inch tolerance on supporting structure location at each end of the joist. This means that Composite TotalJoist can handle the usual construction variations that happen in reality.

Highest Build to Date
After years of proving the technology and developing our engineering and fabrication techniques, TotalJoist is pushing the industry standard for number of storeys using cold-formed steel framing. This building will be ten storeys tall when completed.
Formwall System
Our shop fabricated formwall system is being shipped to site with rebar installed. All detailing for the rebar was done in-house.
The floor system is being installed prior to concrete being poured into the walls which provides a platform for the concrete workers and eliminates the requirement for scaffolding or temporary platforms.
The same trade is being used for installing the wall panels and concrete shear walls which eliminates a trade and eliminates the need for additional coordination.
Controlled delivery
This job requires a very large quantity of supply. The sequence of bundles being delivered to site is being carefully controlled so that the joists can be placed directly onto walls, straps cut and joists spread, reducing crane picks by not having to install joists one at a time.
